New Patient Process
Your appointment will begin with a detailed discussion about your current symptoms and any relevant lifestyle factors.
We’ll also ask about your past medical history and general health, as these may influence the nature of your condition and the treatment options available.
This helps us form a clear picture of what might be contributing to your symptoms.
We’ll then carry out a physical examination, which may include asking you to perform a range of movements so we can assess posture, joint function, and muscle balance.
We may also check your blood pressure, reflexes, or other neurological signs if appropriate.
This whole-body approach ensures we don’t just treat the symptoms, but understand the root cause.
Treatment will be tailored to your specific needs using a variety of safe, evidence-informed osteopathic techniques. We treat you as an individual—our goal is not only to relieve your discomfort, but also to help you understand and manage your condition moving forward.
We’ll discuss our findings with you and outline a proposed treatment plan. In most cases, your first appointment will include treatment. If your case is more complex, we may recommend a follow-up visit before treatment begins—this will always be clearly explained at the time.
You’ll leave feeling listened to, supported, and with tools or advice to aid your ongoing recovery.
